History and research (Historiekällar´n)
In the basement of the library in Edsbyn we have an increased service for ancestry and local history research.
We have many sources to your history. You can search in the Parish records from Alfta, Ovanåker and Voxna on microfiche and in Släktböcker/ Family books from 18 parishes in our province. On the Internet you can search for ancestors from all provinces in Sweden and for emigrants. Literature from the library about our local history is also available. Our staff will assist you in your research without any charge.
Opening hours
We are open weekdays Monday — Friday 9 am — 4 pm.
